Bachelor of Science in Business with a Major in Accounting The accounting major promotes identification with and orientation to the accounting profession and is designed to provide the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for a successful accounting career. Core competencies in technology, critical thinking, and communication are emphasized throughout the curriculum. Technology, in particular, is embedded in all accounting courses.
